First day of proper lessons today, after a pretty long break (: haha!
so, went to school for civics and chem lecture?! I've officially promised myself that I'll conscientiously listen during lectures (that means not dozing off accidentally) and do my tutorials after each topic. YUPP say only, hope that I'll have the discipline to do that
Lessons ended at 10:05am, but we had to stay in school till noon for some unknown reason. ATTEMPTED to do PW. omg, I seriously can't wait for it to be over :(
went home to take a nap before water training! :D wheee! hmmm, really want to thank God for clearing the skies for our trng. was super scared that it was going to pour la :/ rahhh. kept praying for the sun to come out all the way to macritchie....
Anyway, went through the usual routine of checking for ants that have this liking to seek refuge amongst our lifejackets. erghhh. super gross, I bet it's because of the smelly macritchie water. Pro soo (aka pest exterminator) found the ant next and tried to flood the place. Due to natural selection and good adaptation to the surroundings, ants have finally learnt how to swim and hence.... our plan to drown them failed -.-"
water training:
rowed with toot on blackie for about 2km? Don't know what happened to us. Used to have a right tilt that we soon learnt to be comfortable with. Then suddenly, we had this super imba left tilt that we couldn't explain :( thanks soo and michelle for saving us so many times...... haii.
so jiaolian decided to switch partners again. continued rowing on blackie with michelle whilst toot rowed with soo on the green advantage. let's see.... technically we only capped once on blackie because miss michelle chia was caught red-handed by soo (who was rowing behind) adjusting her ______, that's why we capped. hahah! michelle.... dont wanna embarrass you la (: (: but great job anyway! silly girl, apparently she saw a lizard swimming in the water and screamed. so I screamed too.. and not far off, I think soo and toot kinda yelped -.-" MALUUU.
after finishing the 10km that we were supposed to do, we switched boats with soo and toot! zomgg.. it felt more stable rowing on the low seat! pheww. but I've come to a conclusion that the rudder hates me. Which rudder in the world will go left when I rudder right!? *faints. That was the same boat that I was rowing with Ge about a month ago? zig-zagging everywhere. never goes straight :( :( booooo.
okay, so after the exciting (but super exhausting) water trng. we did land sets!
5 sets of 30 pushups and 30 crunches
ran board walk (wheee! we saw the monitor lizard!)
and finally....... pullup pyramids (assisted of course)
yes we all died.
by the time we finished training, it was so dark that we could only see shadows of each other.
not because we're tanned please. it was really dark.
Don't know what happened to the pavement lamps that usually lit up
yep so that was water trng for you.
